Schoolwork Accomplished:
*She took notes on the human body from the book: Tell Me About The Human Body by School Specialty Children's Publishing. Good handwriting practice as she was trying to keep it neat, and it was nice to see her interested in some science as well. Her handwritting has really improved. It still needs work, but it's sooo much better!
*Silent reading: The Candlemaker and Other Tales by Victoria Forrester and The Wizzard of OZ by Frank L. Baum
*She took notes and gave lessons on Annie Oakley:A Photographic Life by Chuck Wills(A DK biography book) to Timothy. I think teaching him benefited her learning much more than it did his. She listed 19 facts that he learned.
*The kids all went outside to play in the snow and ice. Leanna and Justin made up games that they played outside.
*Later on they played Narnia games upstairs, pretending to be the characters.
*Multiplication.com-6X table, 7X table, 8X table
*We sat and went through the What Your Fourth Grader Needs to Know book and reviewed which things we'd already learned and what we had yet to cover. It was good to see where we are and where we need to be.
