Leanna's answer to the ignorant

My answer to the blog:

It is from Percy Jackson. I've read all the books. Hades does not have horns! That's Pan! Aphrodite is prettier, Hephaestus is not that ugly, Hestia was a supreme Olympian, and she did give up her throne, but not because of you're reason. You also spelled Cronus's name wrong. It's Kronos. Hades didn't force Persephone into the Underworld, either. He tricked her, giving food. What Persephone didn't know was that once she ate it, she would have to stay there. Her mother, Demeter, was allowed to see Persephone in the Springtime, when Hades allowed her to go up on earth. And Prometheus isn't a god. And he's certainly not the god of fire, burn and craft. That's Hephaestus. And you didn't say how the three goddesses were picked (I'll do that later) Hermes was not a guide of dead to the Underworld. He was not a full inventor, that was mostly Hephaestus. And Daedalus. Hera hated Hercules because he was the child of Zeus w/ another women, and she hated all children of Zeus that weren't her own (w/ the exception of Jason Grace in PJO). You didn't say why Artemis was a virgin. She was a virgin because she swore never to marry and took on oath (Probably on the River Styx(In PJO the oath is:I pledge myself to the goddess Artemis. I turn my back on the company of men, accept eternal maidenhood, and join the hunt.")). Plus, her brother was Apollo. Kronos was an evil Titan who wanted to take over. He was a Titan and the ruler of the Titans. Kronos's children are Zeus, Poseidon, Hades (The Big Three), and Hera. Zeus was never married to Metis. Athena sprang forth from his head in full armor, yes, but Zeus was never married to Metis. Hermes job was to be the messenger of the gods, not to convoy the dead. Hera didn't throw Hephaestus off Mount Olympus because he was lame. She did it 'cause he was ugly (Which isn't nice, but this is Hera). Sorry if I offended you, or sounded mean, I was just trying to make a point!Sorry again! Bye!!!

THE JUDGEMENT OF PARIS was a contest between the three most beautiful goddesses of Olympus--Aphrodite, Hera and Athena--for the prize of a golden apple addressed to "the fairest"
The story begins at the Wedding of Peleus and Thetis to which all of the gods were invited, all except Eris, the goddess of discord. When she appeared at the festivities, she was turned away, and in her anger cast a golden apple amongst the assembled goddesses addressed "To the Fairest." Three goddesses laid claim to the apple--Aphrodite, Hera and Athena. Zeus was asked to mediate and he commanded Hermes to lead the three goddesses to Paris of Troy to decide the issue. The three goddesses appearing before the shepherd prince, each offering him gifts for favour. He chose Aphrodite, swayed by her promise to bestow upon him Helene, the most beautiful woman, for wife. The subsequent abduction of Helene led directly to the Trojan War and the fall of the city.
