Field Trip Day:

Leanna and Justin went to Uncle David's house and carried piles of bricks down four flights of stairs-it took about 3 hours and left both with some sore muscles.  It was quite a workout! Leanna carried more than Justin because she's stronger than him and it hurt to walk after that.
They had a cookout and watched the new Beauty and the Beast afterwards.

*Cleaning out the Pop-up camper. We worked as a family at Warren's house.  Some got exercise by cleaning and carrying things.  Others got exercise by running around playing games while everyone else worked.  Timothy went out with Grammy, Aunt Laura, and Mom afterwards.

We walked around, saw animals, took photos, some went through a maze, and we took a hayride out to the Pumpkin Patch.  Afterwards we stopped for pizza.  A very nice family trip.

Relax and ride comfortably in our vintage coaches built as early as 1917 pulled by diesel engines.  The narrated round-trip follows the majestic Lehigh River over bridges, through Glen Onoko, and into the Lehigh Gorge State Park.  High-rising cliffs, mountain scenery, and wildlife surround the train along the forested route to Old Penn Haven.

Was formerly known as Mauch Chunk, A Leni Lenape Indian name which means "Bear Mountain." The town is a mixture of Victorian architecture and unique businesses... a graceful blend of yesterday with today. The scenery is breathtaking as the mountains present a new face every season. The steep hillsides, narrow streets, and terraced gardens earned Mauch Chunk the nickname “The Switzerland of America.”

We went to Easton's Garlic Fest:

We walked around, getting lots of exercise, tried garlic Ice Cream, listened to live bands, and looked at food and products from vendors.  The boys tried shooting into a rotating basketball hoop and Lorelei rode a horse.  We brought home garlic and natural peanut butter.  Justin tried Cinnamon Almonds.
