*We watched some kid music videos online.
*We talked about what an insect is. We did a couple worksheets identifying them. He created his own insect and drew a picture of it-taking into consideration what it eats, how it's body parts help it get food, how it's body parts help it survive and where it lives. He also drew it's lifecycle. We watched a bunch of online videos about insects (and one on sharks). We looked up fun facts about insects. We came up with our own list, typed into a pdf file of six fun facts.
*Outdoor Play
Timothy:

*Timothy listened to some of the insect discussion but not all. He's not as interested and he helped keep Lorelei occupied. He only watched one of the videos, but participated in our facts discussion at the end.

Field Trip Day!!
we went to Mayfair's Discovery Day.
This was an Arts field trip. We got lots of excersize, saws tons of handcrafted stuff, and Leanna and Justin painted and did a Pablo Picasso craft. Jacob got his picture drawn at a booth ($10.00). We walked to McDonalds afterwards to wait for Daddy to pick us up and Leanna and Justin both made purchases there.
