Schoolwork Accomplished:
Leanna:
*harmonica playing-attempting to work out songs.
*playing with Quantum Leap Explorer Globe
*journal entry
*art type drawings and cutouts from puzzle/coloring book.
*We reviewed multiplication tables 0-11 orally (she had 2 wrong)
*We reviewed the middle ages out loud and re-read some sections of The Story of the World.
*We read another chapter in The Story of the World.
*We read a chapter of By the Shores of Silver Lake.
*Timthy-practice writing and drawing in his notebook. (we worked on a dog story together, so actually practice writing letters, sounding out words, using punctuation, capitalizing letters.) He also played with magnet words, pictures, and letters. I read him three stories.
*Justin-harmonica and a page in his math workbook on money.
*Jacob-made a fireman & firetruck picture with Leanna.

*American Girls Club-making valentines for EVERYONE (and a trip to Tony's with us afterwards)
*Geography workbook-lesson 20 and lesson 21
*Science Journal-entered earth facts (copywork & science!)
*Computer-PopTropica
*Wordplay Cafe book-we talked about vocabulary and it's importance and how to communicate
*We read two chapters in By the Shores of Silver Lake
*We read Echo's Lament For Narcissus by Ben Jonson and The Way Through The Woods by Rudyard Kipling from Stories and Poems for Extremely Intelligent Children of All Ages
*Leanna did an acrylic paint picture of Dora the Explorer.
*Justin-one page on double digit subtraction. He's still having difficulty with this. I talked him through it. He's getting better but I don't think he could do it on his own yet.
*Timothy practiced reading words out at the dentist's office today and at home. He's getting better at guessing words based on the sounds. He also helped Leanna on PopTropica.
*Jacob-dot pen art, reading Into the Night Kitchen by himself.

*Silent Reading-She finished The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan
*Worldplay Cafe-read a few selections together including reading Lewis Carrol's Jabberwocky (!) just fun wordplay together.
*Made 3 Chineese lanterns because she was enjoying it so much, this time she decorated them first.
*helped with the crayon melting project to make a piece of artwork.
*Researched frog facts on her own for a project she came up with
