*We read and reviewed The Middle Ages Unit 8 and corrected mistakes.
*We read a chapter in The Long Winter

*Justin-Solve the Riddle, Make a Rhyme (word world worksheet downloaded from PBS)plus figure out the words /fun facts, Lifeskills with Grammy-organizing dresser drawers, made mold for dinosaur kit and read the Magic School Bus Dinosaur book
*Timothy-Solve the Riddle, Make a Rhyme (word world worksheet downloaded from PBS) Lifeskills with Grammy-organizing dresser drawers, made mold for dinosaur kit and read a magic school bus book. 
*Jacob-we watched and sang with counting videos, since he's still having trouble with even the first five numbers.  We also did John the Rabbit, just because it's one of his favorite.  Like his brothers, he played outside all afternoon and walked with us to the playground and had a blast there.

Lorelie's first birthday!!

Leanna:
*American Girl Club meeting-they made duct tape flowers on pens and played games and jumped on the trampoline.
*journal entry
*Writing well page on personal pronouns
*artists of the world draw fractions
*Knights and Armor Unit Study
*Drew a picture of a shark
*Leanna did some gardening work. 

Justin-2 pages in his math workbook plus extra practice because he wasn't understanding the lesson.  I got out goldfish crackers and made the problems personal with mild success.  Tom was getting mad because he wanted quiet so we had to end the lesson early.  Timothy participated too. 
*Timothy-in addition to participating in Justin's lesson, he also did a page on fox in socks words-rhyming. 
*the boys played outside almost the entire afternoon.

Schoolwork Accomplished:
Leanna:
*Recipe Fraction-assignment to find three recipies-1/2 one, double one, triple one.
*Worked on science observation sheets
*Watched a how-to-draw-a-mermaid video and drew her own.  Several version, plus some sea creatures. 
*Fraction Games online, up to level five. And a pizza fraction worksheet.
*Made the pizza science kit-but the yeast didn't work so we'll have to re-do the experiment.  She followed the directions and did everything herself though, she's getting better at that. 
*St. Patrick's Day graph, made our own green play doh.  I made rainbow cupcakes with whipped cream topping too. 
*Lots of outdoor play and cooking out on the grill
*Silent reading-always rereading her books, even when I forget to write it on here.  

*Justin-practice with words (oral) and practice with money, one math workbook page.
