Schoolwork Accomplished:

*She took two Math U See level tests-we tried Beta and Gamma levels.  She would very clearly have to start at level Gamma.  (I'm a little dissapointed.  She was still struggling to remember the order for addition/multiplication.  After all the practice we've done!!)
*We read some info on the Statue of Liberty (from it's website) and read about the Colossus of Rhodes, commenting on the similarities between the two.  Leanna did a worksheet on what her own statue for freedom would look like and be made of.
*We also covered: The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, The Great Pyramid at Giza, The Lighthouse of Alexandria, The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, The Temple of Artemis in Ephesus, The Statue of Zeus at Olympia. We looked at info online about each and talked about them, connecting this with info we already knew from The Story of the World, and our studies of Egypt and Greek Gods.
*She began making her own Hanging Garden of Babylon and later helped Justin make one as well.
*Multiplication workbook-3 and 1/4 pages.
*Division.com games
