Schoolwork Accomplished:
Leanna:
*Journaling
*Silent Reading: Are You There God, It's Me, Margaret? by Judy Blume.
*She recopied some vocabulary words
*She drew illustrations for the Bill of Rights.(worksheets)
*Read info on and colored an illustration of the inside of a tree.
*3 pages in Problem Solving workbook on her own.
*We did a few more pages of work in the Revolutionary War Time Pockets book.
*She began a new project on her loom.
*We read a page on cool facts about bats & related it to our own experience with bats
Timothy-3 pages of math workbook with me. Leanna tried to help him a bit too. He spent some time on webkinz world. He watched WordWorld and WordGirl on PBS.
Justin-watched a Little House on the Prairie movie, we talked a bit about similarities and differences in the books/tv show. He also watched WordWorld and WordGirl on PBS. He tried spelling words along with WordWorld.
Jacob even played nicely on the floor with Lorelei for a little this afternoon.
Tony the Plumber's wife stopped by and the kids ran around outside while I talked to her. Lorelei let Tom and the kids hold her for a while tonight which let me accomplish things. We all straightened up downstairs and Timothy in particular helped me out a lot. Leanna and I traded off washing/drying dishes tonight and she did schoolwork in between. I gave Jacob a bleach bath and Timothy joined him, then they showered to rinse the bleach off (his skin does look much better now). I cleaned the bathroom while they were in the tub. Justin got his shower earlier and Leanna took a bath tonight too. I talked to both my parents on the phone tonight. I spent a bit of time with Tom even. Leanna and I talked about her plans to keep a binder for teaching plans so she can be my assistant teacher to help teach her brothers. I felt very productive for once!
