Schoolwork Accomplished:

*Leanna decided to make cinnamin rolls from a mix and I let her completely make them herself.  She followed the instructions and did it from start to finish without my input.  Afterwards we discovered that she'd used the instructions for just making rolls, not cinnamin rolls.  But she made the iceing and added that on top.  So the rolls themselves weren't as sweet as they were supposed to be, but I figured that added to the lesson-you must check and double check that you're following the instructions correctly!
Then she improvised and made more with plain biscuts, adding the iceing after they were done.
*Editing and Writing book-3 page review
*Outdoor play
*Girl Scout Birthday party-4 hours

**a light school day, I'd intended for her to make up for it on the following Monday, but Grammy ran into car trouble and Leanna ended up not finishing all the work she was supposed to do which included makeup work from Friday.  I don't know if I've noted on this blog that Leanna's been going to Grammy's house on Saturday nights so she can go to church/Sunday School with Grammy.  Some weekends she comes home on Sunday, others on Monday (although this was the first time that she stayed until Tuesday).  It gives her extra socialization and some Bible lessons and time spent with her grandparents, plus some much needed time out of the house.
