*We read some poetry from the What Your 6th Grader Needs to Know book and talked about what the poems meant.
*Life of Fred, chapter 2 & 3
*We worked on Life of Fred-we both got stuck on a problem and tried looking up an explanation online.
*She did some online math games, trying to practice the skill that she wasn't doing correctly

We had our home inspection today, so this was only a half day for school.

Schoolwork Accomplished:
Leanna: Geography book-most of the first week's questions, two pages in Writing Paragraphs: Grade 6, she completed the list of 10 things to know about her, she did one chapter in her Life of Fred book (fractions) and she attempted to help Justin do his Life of Fred book (but I had to re-do it). She had her first Cadettes meeting tonight also.
Justin: I read A Tale of Two Bad Mice by Beatrix Potter, we completed a list of 10 things to know about me, He did a practice sheet of alphabet letters-upper and lower case, and one chapter in his life of Fred math book.

We took pictures outside of all the kids holding up signs for what grade they were in this year, and a couple group shots. We went grocery shopping and ate pizza at a pizza shop.
