Schoolwork Accomplished:
*Final draft of friendly letter to Deb
*four pages in fractions workbook
*helped Timothy write a letter to Grammy. Also wrote her own short letters to Grammy and Aunt Laura.
*Test on Spelling List 16
*Re-wrote 5X each all the misspelled words
*We read four or five poems and she wrote several of her own, complete with illustrations.
*She did a journal entry
*I read LOTS of Roman info to her and we talked about it. While I was reading to her, she was using play doh to create a sculpture of a Roman vender selling foods in the Forum (topic her choice). She also made several molds, like the ones they made of the remains in Pompeii. We had good discussion.
*She went out bike riding after supper with her brothers, Noah, and two sisters from nearby. This lasted for several hours, so it was a nice gym class.
I felt very good about today's work.
