Schoolwork Accomplished:
*Read poetry book for silent reading.
*Painted penguins from Eyewittness kit while I read the info on each species as she painted them. She attached magnets to the backs.
*Leanna cleaned penguin mess and did the few dishes that were in the sink then.
*New multiplication workbook-four pages plus a speed drill (she did badly on that though). and later on 4 pages of division, and she "got it" she understood that division is multiplication backwards. She was proud of herself for this and so was I.
*Re-wrote her book review on the pioneer book with corrections and additional information.
*played with her Laura Ingalls Wilder paperdoll set. Not school exactly, but at the same time it is educational-it does make her consider what life was like then and solidify things she's learned in her mind.
*Adverb worksheet.
Schoolwork was interrupted by a fight with Billy(long story).
