Schoolwork Accomplished:
*Beginning Multiplication/Division workbook: 7 pages (one more to go!)
*Comprehensive Curriculum: 8 pages: 235, 239, 242, 243, 244, 258 (and two more)
*Wrote multiplication facts from one to four tables
*Two pages in Editing and Writing book
*Art Project: lacing to make braclets, pencil toppers, keychain decorations, etc.
*Silent reading: Black Beauty
*We read and discussed more about Roman life from the book The Way People Live: Life in Ancient Rome by Don Nardo
*Began correcting the mistakes in her spelling review of lessons 6-10
*Lifeskills: baking cupcakes all by herself. This included my giving her some baking tips and a short discussion of fraction related math (how much is two thirds? What does it look like in relation to the whole? And she related it to money)
*Timothy did four more pages in his math book. I read two dinosaur stories to Justin & Timothy. Justin spent a lot of time outside playing in the snow. Inside they played superman and Jacob spent quite a bit of time playing with trains and cars. He built ramps and train tracks and just had a blast all by himself.
