Schoolwork Accomplished:
*Leanna: Silent Reading-finished ChocolateTown
*One
long worksheet of reducing fractions-we used a timer to encourage her
and she did it! We started with her yelling at me, she was punished
then sat down to do it while I washed dishes and We Did It! Wahoo!
*She neatly edited and recopied her bat poem from yesterday.
*We read two chapters of Story of the World.
*We read a bit more George VS. George. and discussed the Revolutionary War.
*We sang and watched a bunch of old playhouse Disney
videos. Including some Daniel Cook and Emily Yeung ones that were
educational as well. Daniel went maple sugaring (fits right in with
Little House in the Big Woods!) and we also watched Emily bake bread in a
hearth and visit a worm farm.
*I read the next chapter in
Little House in the Big Woods to Justin (Timothy disappeared downstairs
and I found him on the computer later). Justin has trouble sitting
through the book too though-it has a lot of details about cooking, and
dresses, and scenery and such that he has no interest in.
