Just a general summation of some of the school type activities we've done during the summer so far:
Leanna-
*tons of reading. Lots of Magic Treehouse and Nancy Drew. Some educational books on Ancient Egypt.
*some pages in her handwriting book.
*She started her 6th grade spelling workbook
*She began skating and went on trips to the park.
*She explored BeverlyCleary.com and took some quizzes on the website.
*She began making some artist trading cards.
*Creating viking people from clay and painting them.
*She did some painting.
*She reread the Klutz hand book and did the experiments in it.
*Lifeskills work, such as making dinner for the family a few times. Working on cleaning and organizational skills.
Justin-
*We read some library books together.
*He's been swimming and climbing.
*Lifeskills work-more practice with dishes and cleaning and learning to cook.
*More drawing pictures.
*Computer play with webkinz, poptropica, and KidZui games.
