Schoolwork Accomplished:
*Wrote spelling list 17 twice each
*Wrote each word from list 16 once (still having trouble with them)
*Practiced cursive alphabet and name
*Reading comprehension story and poem with worksheet questions about each
*Fraction workbook-2 pages
*separate fraction worksheet on comparing fractions
*Geography-catching up, did 4 weeks of lessons today.
*Corrections on everything-math, english, geography
*Speed multiplication page (this was disheartning. She did awful on this one. We'll have to go over it again.) At that point a neighborhood girl was over waiting for her to finish, so I let her go play (socialization and gym and all that). She wouldn't have done quality work at that point anyway.
*Multiplication.com: 3s-2 minutes, 20 seconds. 6: 2 minutes, 40 seconds. 4s:2 minutes, 30 seconds.
*Read Mr. Popper's Penguins to all the kids (though it was really only Leanna and Justin listening). We read the first 7 chapters tonight, and they were begging me to continue.
