Schoolwork Accomplished:

*Math word problems from Mr. Popper's Penguins worksheet & Math word problems from The Chronicles of Narnia worksheet.
*Drew a penguin and cut out pieces to make an icebox and penguin.  (part of a Mr. Popper's Penguins lapbook).  I had Justin and Timothy do this as well.
*We discussed alliteration.  She wrote down some examples of alliteration from the book.
*Colored & read a few pages in the newly arrived Dover Life in Ancient Rome coloring book.
*Wrote a story from a prompt (made by me) about receiving a box with airholes and something black and white inside.  I was actually aiming for a penguin, since we started reading Mr. Popper's Penguins, but she made it a horse.
*She re-read that gymnastics book(the whole thing) we bought from the A-town library.
*lots of artsy stuff-coloring in coloring books (besides the Roman one), drawing pictures in her notebook, illustrating the story she wrote, designing things with the foam pieces lying about on the third floor here.  She played school with her dolls and made a book that was supposed to be made by her doll Kirsten.
*played multiplication games online for about an hour.
*We read three chapters in Mr. Popper's Penguins tonight.

This was another day where it was like pulling teeth to get her to do any work.  Plus it was Pop-Pop's day off so we had to be quiet all day.
