Schoolwork Accomplished:
*Tried explaining equivalent fractions another way with another worksheet (frustrating) and watched a short internet video on the subject.
*We read more poetry
*Leanna read a mouse & motorcycle poem by Ken Nesbitt to her brothers (I reread it to them afterwards and later explained to Leanna why her reading of the poem did not go over well)
*Silent reading: The Time Machine by H. G. Wells
*Outdoor excersize
*The kids all-including Jacob-colored a mouse picture and they cut them out and attached a popsicle stick. They did a skit with them (rather chaotic).
*The boys did math pages and we talked about mice and what we thought about them.
*music experimentation with mini cymbols & drums.
**short days yet as we try to figure out how to accomplish everything-teaching everyone, keeping Jacob and Lorelei quiet enough to concentrate, and still managing to get dishes and laundry done and find a place to sit and sleep!!
