Schoolwork Accomplished:
*Mission US-history games
*Silent Reading- The Mystery of the Rocky Mountain by Carole Marsh and Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nymh and Kids Cooking: A Very Slightly Messy Manual by the editors of Klutz Press.
*Discussion about table manners, eating in public, and how to be a good friend. (Inspired by the book Lifeskills for Kids by Feild) It was a good discussion too with the kids all participating.
*She crafted some popsicle houses for her and Jacob
We went to the store and to wait for Daddy to do a small estimate tonight, which cut a big chunk of time out of our day.
*Justin and Timothy and Jacob played outside all afternoon. They participated in the lifeskills discussion mentioned above. And I read Richard Scarry's Busiest Fire Fighters Ever! book, Dr. Seuss's ABC book, I Am NOT Going To Get Up Today! by Dr. Suess, Oh the Thinks You Can Think by Dr. Suess,
Over the weekend we went to an Easter Egg hunt, visited Christine, ate pizza at a restaurant, went to the grocery store, dyed Easter Eggs, had Maree' stay over overnight, celebrated Easter with Maree and Harry-and other relatives after the meal-, watched religious movies on tv, and partially cleaned the basement as a family!!
