*Made a model Viking Longship!! This was fun. And we talked a lot about why the ships were made certain ways (this was made light so they could carry the boat ashore, the head has to look scary so it would inspire fear in their enemies)
*She even went on Poptropica a bit to compare the Vikings on Poptropic with what we knew about Vikings.
*Silent Reading: Mr. Popper's Penguins again.
*We read about what the vikings made to trade and what they traded for.
*We did some blizt cleaning together and she mopped the kitchen floor and cleaned counters all on her own.
The boys played outside all afternoon and had a blast. These have been light school days because it's kind of the Easter break, but we're still doing school.
